Meet Dr. Tiffany Cheung
Dr. Tiffany S. Y. Cheung is an active member of the British Columbia Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, and the Chinese Canadian Dental Society of British Columbia. She is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
Dr. Cheung graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry. She then pursued her dental study at the University of Manitoba and obtained her Bachelor of Science (Dentistry) and Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degrees in 2011. After graduation, Dr. Cheung decided to come back to Vancouver and has been practicing dentistry in Greater Vancouver/ Fraser Valley since.
Dr. Cheung is a dentist that prides herself on providing high quality care to her patients. She is a certified Invisalign dentist. She often attends continuing education classes to update herself in the latest dental technology and research. She also believes patient education is important in the promotion of oral health and informed treatment-planning with her patients.
Dr. Cheung is a mother and enjoys spending time with her family. She likes to try cuisines from different cultures.
Dr. Matt Hsieh
Dr. Matt Hsieh is from Taiwan. He graduated from Chung Shan Medical University Dentistry in 2010. He excels in cosmetic dentistry, orthodontic treatment, implant replacement, and wisdom tooth extraction surgery.
During his practice as a dentist for more than 10 years, Dr. Hsieh has acquired extensive knowledge and skills, particularly in enhancing patients' smiles. He approaches smile design for each patient with passion and strives to achieve the best aesthetic outcomes.
Furthermore, Dr. Hsieh possesses extensive experience in wisdom tooth removal surgery. Dr. Hsieh is well-known for his gentleness and patience, making sure that every patient experiences minimal discomfort during the dental procedure.
Dr. Stella Ge
Dr. Stella Ge received her Bachelor of Medical Lab Science degree and her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at UBC. She was born in Guangzhou, China and can speak English, Cantonese and Mandarin fluently. She is friendly, respectful, and willing to go extra mile to provide care and support for her patients. Outside of work, she enjoys swimming, cooking, and watching movies.
Meet Steve
Steve is thrilled to join our team as a Dental Hygienist. Having lived in the vibrant Vancouver/Richmond area for the past 20 years, he feels a strong connection to the community. Steve’s journey in dental care began with completing his dental hygiene program in 2017, and he has been passionately practicing ever since. Fluent in both Mandarin and English, with a basic understanding of Cantonese, Steve can effectively communicate with a diverse range of patients. His approach to dental hygiene is centered around gentleness, ensuring that each patient’s experience is as comfortable as possible. When he is not at the clinic, Steve enjoys exploring various cuisines and spending quality time with his wife, their young daughter, and their beloved family Yorkie. He is committed to providing exceptional oral care and ensuring that visits to Oval Dental Centre are positive and relaxed experience
Meet Dr. Kam Lee
Dr. Kam Lee graduated from University of Toronto in 1996. He is capable of speaking English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Being a father of two, he loves doing family activities. He also enjoys cooking or anything to do with food. You may see him at Rogers Arena watching hockey as he is a fan of the Vancouver Canucks. His favourite dental procedure is oral surgery. He is skillful at wisdom teeth extraction, and can minimize the discomfort during extraction. Now, he is a part time dentist at Oval Dental Centre. Just like Dr.Cheung, he prides himself in providing high quality dental care for patients.
Meet Dr. Leslie Chew
Dr Leslie Chew is a General Dentist. He was born in Hong Kong and immigrated to Vancouver, Canada in 1985 with his parents. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree (B.Sc.) in Biochemistry at the University of British Columbia in 1993, a Doctor in Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor in 1998, a Postgraduate Diploma in Dental Surgery (PDipDS) at the University of Hong Kong in 2001, and a Higher Educating Teaching Certificate at Harvard University in 2020. He has been a Clinical Instructor at the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of British Columbia since 2006 to now. He can speak English and Cantonese.
Meet Peggy
Peggy was trained in Vancouver Community College and has been working as a dental receptionist and certified dental assistant for over 5 years. She is very patient and friendly and is able to speak fluently in English and Mandarin. Her goal is to create a caring and comfortable environment for patients and excellent dental experience in our office. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym, playing board game with friends, and traveling with her family.
Meet Crystal
Crystal is born and raised in Vancouver. She joined our team after completing her dental assisting diploma at CDI College. She can speak English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. In her spare time she enjoys shopping, trying out new restaurants, and spending time with her family, friends, and her puppy.
Meet Veny
Veny joined our practice in January 2022 as a full-time receptionist. She has been working in the administrative field for more than 6 years. She is proficient in patient care coordination and dental insurance processes. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Teochew. Veny is dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming environment for every patient, ensuring they receive the greatest dental service. In her spare time, she enjoys watching movies, cooking, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Meet Chelsea
Chelsea has worked as a dental assistant and receptionist for over five years, and she speaks Cantonese, Mandarin, and English fluently. Chelsea prides herself in helping patients feel comfortable and ensuring they receive the greatest possible service. She enjoys working out in the gym, spending time at the beach, and looking for cute dogs to pet. Chelsea is currently enrolled in college and aiming towards a profession in healthcare.
